AboutMichał Kwiatkowski, also known as Michal & Self Concept, is a Polish composer and singer, born on November 12, 1983 in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. At 6, he learnt piano & in 2001, he was a contestant in the Polish TV show "Szansa Na Sukces". In 2003, he moved to Paris & participated to Star Academy third season, he became the runner-up & Élodie Frégé was the winner.
In April 2004, Michal released his debut album De L'Or Et Des Poussières & he went on tour in 2005. In September 2005, he released his single "Mon Tout", before Paris' Sentier Des Halles from December 2005 to January 2006.
In January 2007, Michal released his second album All Alone With My Gueule, recorded in London, sounding 80's but less successful. He started his new tour with Sorel as his supporting act. In November 2007, his label Mercury fired him. As a free singer, he performed at Paris' Sentier Des Halles, with many artists. The following year, he performed at Paris' Gibus Club & went on another tour until 2009.
In September 2009, Michal participated to the Polish TV show "Taniec Z Gwiazdami" (Dancing With The Stars), until the semifinal.
