In the 70's & 80's, he had been the conductor of Michel Berger's rock opera "Starmania" & also for many artists, among others : Alain Chamfort, Michel Delpech, Claude François, France Gall, Françoise Hardy, Corinne Hermès, Michel Jonasz, Véronique Sanson & Michel Sardou.
Also a musician, he played the piano on many songs he had arranged & conducted. He has been the composer of Patrice Leconte's film "Les Bronzés", released in 1978. In 1992, he arranged Jean-Jacques Debout's musical "Paul & Virginie".
