Just for the record my motive here isn't revenge
This is my side of the story and this is to defend
The honesty in how we were so desperately trying
To keep ourselves from becoming what we feared when we were crying
And honestly, we should've seen it coming for a while
The honesty that we were lacking from each and every smile
The fights that never stopped that seemed to echo the whole town
Till each echo sounded different, and I had myself turn around
