John Cena is one of the most diverse Superstars in WWE history. Not only is Cena a multiple-time WWE Champion, but he's also an accomplished rapper. Cena will be adding even more to his resume when he stars in his first movie later this year.

With Cena, what you see is what you get. He is known for saying it's all about "real recognizing real." Love him or hate him, you can't deny his amazing work ethic. Cena has been everywhere from India to the U.K. to the Philipines and everywhere in between promoting WWE and visiting his devoted fans, the Chain Gang Soldiers.

Cena may not be the biggest Superstar in WWE, but he has one of the biggest hearts. He will never back down from a challenge and has beaten a wide array of top Superstars ranging from Big Show to Kurt Angle to Edge and many more. But no challenge may be bigger than his next one - Triple H.

The Champ will face The Game at WrestleMania 22, and the WWE Championship will be on the line. Triple H defeated Rob Van Dam and Big Show in the finals of the Road to WrestleMania Tournament to earn the opportunity to challenge for Cena's WWE Championship. He has made no secret that he is on a mission to reclaim his throne as the King of Kings.

Triple H may have the experience edge, but Cena refused to back down. He confronted The Game and reminded him that he may be a 10-time World Champion, but he had never defeated The Champ. The two were forced to team up at Saturday Night's Main Event in a RAW Wrestlemania main event vs. SmackDown WrestleMania main event Handicap Match. The duo faced World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, Randy Orton & Rey Mysterio who had problems of their own coexisting.

Triple H utlized underhanded tactics to gain an advantage over Rey Mysterio, and John Cena didn't approve and refused to tag The Game as a result. Cena eventually got in the ring and managed to hit an FU on Orton, but when he went for the pin Triple H broke it up. The Game then laid out his "partner" with a Pedigree. Mysterio then broke up Orton's pin attempt, though. The SmackDown side self-destructed as well, and Cena was able to recover and counter an Orton RKO into a roll up for the pin. Triple H hit him with the Pedigree, but Cena survived and picked up the win.

The two are now on a collision course for the biggest event of the year - WrestleMania 22.

Cena was able to cement his spot in the WrestleMania main event when he defeated Edge to regain his WWE Championship. Edge had taken avantage of his Money in the Bank Championship opportunity to defeat Cena after he was already bloodied and battered after an Elimination Chamber Match at New Year's Revolution. But Cena was able to overcome the Rated R Superstar at the Royal Rumble when he was at full strength. Cena is back in the saddle as The Champ and is looking to remain as such for a very long time.

Whether he's the WWE Champion or not, though, there's no denying Cena's amazing success early on in his career. Perhaps, much of Cena's success can be attributed to his unparalleled fan support. Maybe no WWE Superstar can relate to the fans quite like John Cena.

After all, before Cena became a household name in sports-entertainment, before he became an accomplished rapper and before he grabbed the leading role in a major motion picture, he was a WWE fan.

Cena came to live events, created homemade signs and even collected WWE action figures. All in hope of one day performing in the ring himself.
And Cena's dream came through in resounding fashion at WrestleMania 21 when he defeated JBL for the WWE Championship. In the Staples Center, the same arena where he watched so many matches as a fan, Cena won the WWE Championship.

A former football star at Springfield College, Cena was addicted to training and music growing up. After a successful bodybuilding career, he began his wrestling journey not long after he left college. The rest is history.

Cena is a multi-time United States Champion and current WWE Champion. He began his first U.S. Championship reign in amazing fashion by defeating Big Show at WrestleMania XX.

In June of 2002, Cena had one of the more memorable debuts in SmackDown history. After Kurt Angle challenged anyone backstage to a match, Cena, a young wrestler looking for a big break, made his way to the ring.

Angle would win that match, but Cena took him to the brink, impressing everyone in attendance that night, including the entire SmackDown! roster. In his relatively short time with WWE, Cena has already built up quite a resume.

By April of 2003, Cena was already in his first pay-per-view main event, battling Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Backlash.

He defended his United States Championship in a thrilling best-of-five series with Booker T in the fall of 2004. In the 2005 Royal Rumble, Cena was the last Superstar to be eliminated, as RAW's Batista went on to emerge victorious.

At No Way Out, Cena defeated Angle in the final of the No. 1 Contender's Tournament, landing Cena a spot opposite JBL for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21.

Cena, of course, went on to defeat JBL at WrestleMania 21 as well as defend his new WWE Championship against his nemesis in a brutal I Quit Match at Judgment Day. Cena was on a rool and it looked as though he would be ruling SmackDown! for a long time to come.

But WWE fans everywhere were shocked to learn that the WWE Champion was the first Superstar selected in the 2005 Draft Lottery, sending the Dr. of Thuganomics over to RAW. Cena, the fighting champion that he is, told the entire RAW roster, "If you want some, come get some."

Christian and Chris Jericho answered the challenge and the two vied for the WWE Championship against Cena in a Triple Threat Match at Vengeance. Cena once again came out on top as he pinned Christian after an FU.

General Manager Eric Bischoff, enraged at Cena's disrespect for his authority, got behind Jericho and did everything he could to try and make Y2J the next WWE Champion. No matter how much he stacked the deck against Cena, though, Jericho could not overcome the Dr. of Thuganomics. In fact, Jericho even lost a Loser Leaves RAW match, leaving him unemployed.

Through all of his success, Cena has never forgotten his roots, which began in the bleachers watching the likes of Hollywood Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart.

He refers to his fans as members of his "Chain Gang." Together, he figures, they can't lose. And so far, the combination of their support and his talent, have made John Cena one of the top Superstars around.
