OmMaluma, whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias, is a Colombian singer, songwriter and actor. He was born on January 28, 1994 in Medellín, Colombia. Maluma started his music career at a young age, writing songs and recording them in his homemade studio.
Maluma gained fame in 2011 with his debut single Farandulera which became a hit in Colombia. He released his first studio album Magia in 2012, which featured the hit single Obsesion. However, it was his second studio album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy released in 2016, that brought him international success. The album featured hits like Borro Cassette and El Perdedor which topped the charts in Latin America.
Maluma's music is a blend of reggaeton, pop, and urban music and he often collaborates with other Latin music artists. He has worked with artists like Shakira, Ricky Martin, J Balvin and Daddy Yankee, among others.
Aside from his music career, Maluma has also appeared in several films and television shows. He made his acting debut in 2017 with the Colombian television series "La Voz Kids Colombia" and has since appeared in other TV shows like "El Final del Paraíso" and "The One That Got Away." In 2018, he made his big-screen debut in the film "Marry Me" alongside Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson.
