I've got a dog called Digger
He's a bit of a mystery
People think that he looks odd
But he looks great to me
But he's not a big dog, or small dog
He's somewhere in-between
And best of all, he's my dog
He's the best that's ever been

People often ask me, "what kind of dog is he?"
That's not the sort of question you can answer easily

He's not a Boxer, or Dalmatian, as far as I can see
He's not a Scottie, or Alsatian, or a dog from the Pyrenees
He's not a Dachshund or a Great Dane, or any old dog like that
He's very, very fond of me, but he's not too keen on cats

People often ask me, "what kind of dog is he?"

He's not an Afghan, or a Collie, or any famous breed
He's better by far than all of them, he's just the friend I need
Because he's my dog, he's a fine dog, he's more than a pet
And though I might find a better friend, I haven't found him yet
