SobreNick Jonas is a Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling artist also known as a member of the Jonas Brothers with his two older brothers, Kevin and Joe.
In late 2009, Nick formed his own band called Nick Jonas & The Administration and performed their debut single, Who I Am, at the 2010 Grammy Award Nominations (which became the title track to their debut and only album). The band was a solo project for Nick, featuring other legendary musicians who've played with the likes of Prince, John Mayer, and P!nk.
Jonas came up with the name after he flew to Nashville's Blackbird Studios with three years worth of song ideas that wasn't quite right for the Jonas Brothers. He enlisted producer John Fields (P!nk, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers) and they quickly pulled together an "A-Team" of musicians, which they gave the moniker "The Administration."
The Administration included members: music producer John Fields (bass) whom Nick had worked in the past alongside his Brothers, Tommy Barbarella (Lead Guitar), Sonny Thompson (Rhythm Guitar) and Michael Bland (Drums). The band disbanded in 2011 but did reunite once back in 2016.
Nick Jonas began working on his solo music career in 2014; releasing an EP and his album Nick Jonas later that year, with his hit single Jealous peaking at #7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 - becoming Nick's highest charting single to date (3 million copies sold in US alone to date).
He released his second studio album Last Year Was Complicated in 2016.
Nick rejoined his brothers' band in 2019.
As of 2021, Nick Jonas released his third studio album Spaceman on March 12.
