AboutBio:
Sinister Tonz Bio/ Personal Info Born Nathaniel G. Baker on December 17, 1975 to Nancy Baker and Joseph Baker. Who would have known this baby would grow up to be one of the hottest underground hip hop and R&B producers of the millennium. Imagine, if you will, a guy that has produced 687 beats for hip-hop and R&B just in the last two years. Pretty impressive, but nobody knows who this guy really is. That's because he is hard at work in his home production studio making the next beat to keep you bobbing your head, or in between the sheets making love in your bed. Whether it is a dance track, an uptown anthem, or a slow jam, you had better act like you know HIS BEATS ARE HOT! He started out like most rappers do; he went from being a fan of hip-hop to wanting to express himself through the same outlet, making the same music that he loved. For years, he worked on writing his lyrics and developing his own unique style. By 1992, he thought he was ready and formed a group named Out of Order. The group consisted of the following members: Sinister (Nathaniel Baker), DJ Chaos aka Filthy Rich (Richard Grenier), Wolfer (Dave Farrel), Spinny (Sinister's cousin Nick Dow). The group lasted about a year. Wolfer split over a girl and Spinny departed to follow acting shortly after. The last two members stayed together and kept working on their skills. In 1994, DJ Chaos and Sinister set out to try again. They packed some clubs in the New England area and had a small following of devoted fans, but they wanted more. They met a couple of guys at a club and liked each other's style. They decided to form the U.F.C. (The Unified Fractions Clique). The group consisted of Funk D. (Doug Wiggins), Captain Kirk (Kirk Campbell, DJ Chaos and Sinister. They signed with an independent record label, Jam Hot Records? out of Boston, MA. They worked hard in the studio with their producer Steve "The Razor" Picardi. Sinister began to see how he really enjoyed the whole process of making beats. The album never made it to the spotlight, but started a surge of life in the underground hip-hop scene. People were feeling their music, especially their peers. It landed them their first major show. They were chosen to open for DAS EFX at the Salem State University hip-hop concert which featured PMD (Parish Smith) of EPMD and the underground legends from Boston, God Complex, now known as 7L and Esoteric. What a show! Unfortunately, the group was pulled apart by the changes of life and the fact they had not made it big. All of the members are still friends and still keep in touch. Sinister has since moved on and goes by Sinister Tonz aka TONZ. He still produces/ raps , but is a professional mixed martial artist fulltime , Nathaniel "The Game Dog" Baker
